What made you apply for a role at Clean Slate Solutions?
I didn’t actually apply for a role with Clean Slate Solutions, I was given an opportunity by Richard who I became really good friends with after meeting him on a peer mentoring course. I initially started my employment through Routes to Work after being unemployed for 3 years due to illness.
After 12 weeks my Routes to Work came to an end and to my delight I was asked to stay on board with the team! I cried I was that happy!
What is your biggest highlight to date?
My biggest highlight to date is a difficult one to answer as there have been so many but I suppose being part of the fantastic journey with this incredible team sums it up as a whole.
What is the steepest learning curve you have endured so far?
The steepest learning curve so far has to be my own self-belief.
Before I came to work with Clean Slate Solutions, I’d hit an all-time low and had very little confidence and self-worth but with the support and the team’s belief in me I have learned that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. My role here now is almost second nature where at the beginning I was very nervous and didn’t have a clue what I was doing!
What is like being part of the Clean Slate Solutions team?
Being part of Clean Slate Solutions is an absolute joy and I am very proud to say I’m a member of this amazing team! The individual passion and love for what we do reflects in the fantastic results we get with our candidates. I have never worked with such passionate, kind, caring and hilarious people in all my life, nothing is too much or a problem for them and I love them all dearly!
What does your typical day look like?
No two days are the same in my role as I pretty much do what is given to me. I receive referrals and do most of the admin work when it comes in, I don’t have set hours so have a great work/family balance.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Spare time what’s that!! When I’m not working, I am a Wife a Mother and a Nana… these guys are my spare time and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
